Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

08/05/2008: "Cary Grant"

Hey, it's another Howard Hawks directed Cary Grant movie! This one, "Monkey Business" has more of the witty dialogue I'd expect. Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers are a married couple who drink a formula that makes them act younger. I never really like adults acting like little kids -- yeah, that's hilarious. But the rest of the movie, including when they're acting like teenagers, is pretty good. Marilyn Monroe seems to get billed as one of the stars, but her part is really pretty small. She does wear some very nice sweaters, though.

As of today, my Cary Grant Project total is at five:
1. "The Philadelphia Story", 1940, also starring Katharine Hepburn & James Stewart
2. "North By Northwest", 1959, also starring Eva Marie Saint & James Mason
3. "The Pride And The Passion", 1957, also starring Frank Sinatra and Sophia Loren
4. "I Was A Male War Bride", 1949, also starring Ann Sheridan
5. "Monkey Business", 1952, also starring Ginger Rogers
