08/31/2007: "Theater"
We're only one week away from opening night of "The Odd Couple" at the Round Lake Area Park District Robert W. Rolek Community Center. I think tickets are $6 at the door. Curtain is 7:30 on Sept. 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th; 2:00 Sept. 9th and 16th. This is the female version that Neil Simon came up with in the mid-1980's. He took all the characters in his original play, switched the genders, and wrote a new script with those characters. For example, instead of Felix and Oscar, you've got Florence and Olivia. I'm one of the upstairs Spanish brothers (instead of the upstairs English sisters).
