Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

08/11/2007: "Music"

Earlier this year, my my car stereo locked up switching between CDs. And thus, besides not being able to use the stereo, the CDs were trapped in there. Infiniti was generous enough to replace the out-of-warranty unit (am/fm/cassette/6-CD bose stereo). Back at Infiniti headquarters, they have the technology to open up the stereo, and retrieve those CDs, which now have made their way back across the sea. I expected one or two to be scratched up from whatever action caused them to get stuck in the first place. But so far it appears that all 6 are still playable. Including the two My Chemical Romance CDs which I must have played non-stop for a couple months earlier this year. I think it's safe to say they're my favorite group of the 2000s at least.
