02/08/2008: "Theater"

One week till "The Fantasticks" opens. At this moment, it's easier for me to type in the info from the flyer instead of scanning it, so here it is. This doesn't mention it, but there's also a show on Feb 22nd at the College of Lake County. It also doesn't mention that the non-dinner shows are (I believe) $8 at the door.

Round Lake Area Park District Community Theatre presents
"The Fantasticks"
by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones
Performance Dates:
Friday, Feb. 15th at 7:30 pm.
Sunday, Feb. 17th at 2:00 pm.

at the Robert W. Rolek Community Center
814 Hart Road, Round Lake

This timeless fable of love is the longest running musical in the world. Its moving tale of young lovers who become disillusioned, only to discover a more mature, meaningful love is punctuated by a bountiful series of catchy, memorable songs such as "Try to Remember", "Soon It's Gonna Rain", and "They Were You".
