Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

12/21/2008: "Theater"

Yesterday wrapped up another show and another year. In 2008, I was in 7 shows. That's actually seeming like too much. Seven this year makes a grand total of 30. Whoa. Is it time to end this madness? Well, I can't predict the future, but in the past, I think these are my favorite overall theater experiences each year:

2008 -- The Fantasticks, Hucklebee
2007 -- Bye Bye Birdie, Harry MacAfee
2006 -- Oklahoma!, Ali Hakim
2005 -- I can't decide. None stand out as real high on my top 30 list, and I'd just be picking one at random out of 3 or 4 possibilities, so I'm not going to think about it any more.
2004 -- Babes In Toyland, Barnaby
2003 -- The Mousetrap, Giles Ralston
