I'm not bonkers for blogs, but there are a couple that I read fairly regularly. Scott Adams, (the "Dilbert" guy) has one that he updates almost every day with relatively lengthy commentary on a wide variety of whatever pops into his head. Lately he's been using a lot of his entries to flog his latest book, including today's, which nonetheless had this interesting quote from someone who should know, since he kept his day job for 6 years after "Dilbert" became a daily strip.
It turns out that as soon as you don’t need to be working for financial reasons, the stress of your job dissolves, and it starts feeling a lot like a hobby. |
