10/12/2007: "Surgery"

Wow. My (unanticipated) readmission and second abdominal incision in the month of September left me isolated and computer-free for an extra two weeks leading up until, well, now. (On the other hand, it did give me a chance to ask an anesthesiologist if I'd ever play the violin again, while we waited for my favorite surgeon to make a special late Saturday night drive down to the hospital.)

Did you miss me? One appropriate answer to that question would be, "Yes, like a pig misses slop."
