Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

07/24/2007: "Theater"

Don't forget! The children's musical, "Charlotte's Web", runs this weekend and next at the Round Lake Area Park District Community Center on Hart Road. Friday and Saturday night shows are at 7:30 pm. Sunday shows are at 2 pm.

Did I fail to mention that I'm going to be in the female version of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple"? Yep, one of the Spanish brothers who live in the apartment upstairs. That one goes up in September.

Hey, Dan! This is Geoff from WCP and RLBT. Congrats on Odd Couple! I just played Manolo in Riverwoods this past month! The whole scene kills, we got huge laughs and applause on our entrance. Have fun with it, and let me know when it goes up. Time to grow that cheesy moustache. G.

Geoff! It seems as if that's a popular show for community theaters. At least lately. Ralph's directing. It should be fun. Even with me "attempting" yet another accent. smile Opening night is Sept. 7 at the Round Lake Park District Community Center.

I will be there. Which one are you? And who's playing your brother? Rent Don Juan de Marco for a great cheap accent trainer.

I'm Manolo. I don't think you know Devan; he's playing Jesus. He's about 20, give or take, and not really any more Spanish-looking than I -- or you. Don Juan de Marco sounds like a good one. So far I've been collecting some Antonio Banderas movies on my TiVo.

Dan, you have to e-mail the show schedule to me...I wouldn't miss you doing a Spanish accent for the world! wink
