Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

11/19/2006: "Theater"

That's the end of #17 in the Dan Canon. It felt like a pretty good show. Unfortunately not that many got to see it. Too bad. You may not get to see me do that stuff again!

#19 is going to be "Bye Bye Birdie" with me as Mr. McAfee. That was Paul Lynde's role in the movie. That might be worth seeing some time.

Paul Lynde? Wasn't he the Big Chief Ingine in the unforgetable 1979 masterpiece...uh, I forgot the name of it. Well, Arnold Swarrzennegger was in it. It was a western! Pretty Good too. But that was many sixers ago.

Wow, "Cactus Jack". What an unusual choice. I'd have expected anyone under 40 to hear "Paul Lynde" and only be able to come up with 1-3 of the following: Uncle Arthur, Templeton the rat, or Hollywood Squares.
