Cooper: Diane, last night I dreamed I was eating a large, tasteless gumdrop, and awoke to discover I was chewing on one of my foam disposable earplugs. Perhaps I should consider moderating my nighttime coffee consumption.

Cary Grant

Continuing the Cary Grant Project, today's entry is "In Name Only", another movie based around divorce. But this one's not lighthearted or comedic. It's a pretty serious drama with Cary Grant stuck in a loveless marriage and wanting to start again with young widow Carole Lombard; entertaining in a sadly realistic way, but I can't rank it above all the fun-loving, good-time-Charlie romantic comedies and thrilling adventures.

This is probably the best picture I've seen from the recent production of "Disney's Beauty And The Beast":
Belle-And-Maurice

Meanwhile, Nutcracker is coming up Dec. 9th.

My 30th show, about a month from now, will be "Nutcracker" -- not the mostly-dance Nutcracker I've been in the last 3 years, but a short children's musical. I'll still be Godfather Drosselmeyer, though. And also Sweet Tooth (a bumbling sidekick to the Mouse Queen) and the ill-fated Mouse King.

But first! "Disney's Beauty & The Beast" runs for 5 performances, starting Thursday through next Sunday.

Cary Grant

Today's movie was "Once Upon A Honeymoon", kind of a serious comedy, what with the Nazis toppling the countries of Europe as the background. Ginger Rogers even saves a nice Jewish maid and her children.

And that brings the Cary Grant Project up to 22:
