09/26/2008: "Cary Grant"
Tonight the Cary Grant Project hits another pairing with Irene Dunne, "My Favorite Wife". Once again they're a married husband and wife who love each other but also have issues of being completely open and trusting of each other. They make a pretty entertaining couple. This time, she was on a deserted island with a hunk (Randolph Scott; "You'd do it for Randolph Scott. Randolph! Scott!") while he had her declared dead (after 7 years) and now has a new bride.
It's getting tougher to rank these things. But I can't put them all in the top 5. You'd have to go to the bottom 4 to get to the ones I'm not that keen to see again. And I might even watch them.
