The Sprags are out of Toledo and they're pretty darned cool. I'm not good at classifying these things; they just rock. They've been together for a few years, possibly off and on. Their latest redoubled effort of spreading the Spragness started when they played Rusty's on March 15th, 1998. To purchase CDs or to get on the mailing list, contact Sprag management (or, as I like to call it, Jim). In addition to being in the Sprags, some members also have solo CDs and are in other bands. They're out of control!
Current lineup, with primary live instrument:

Scott Hunt, bass
Dusty Whitman, rhythm guitar
Dan Greunke (the new guy), lead guitar
Mark Mikel (aka, Mr. Smooth) , drums
Since the "comeback" show at Rusty's, I've been hitting a lot of their performances. These are only the ones I've been to. If I were you, I'd think about how I could be getting more Sprags in my life!

And keep in mind, just because I go to all these shows, doesn't mean there's anything wrong with me. It's all good.
